Since I have switched my gardening methods from the traditional rototill method to a permaculture method, this broad fork tool has been one of the handiest tools I have in my garden. It breaks up the ground enough to plant seeds and to create loose soil to give plants room to grow and expand without compromising the biochemistry of the soil like a rototiller does. Purchase HERE

My parents had this tool growing up. After I do the initial broad fork work to loosen the soil, I got over the very top of my row to get rid of any dirt clumps. This doesn’t turn your soil like a tiller, so it is safe to use if you are doing a no till method. Purchase HERE.

Let’s be honest, weeding it probably the least enjoyable part of gardening. This tool has completely changed my mind. It is so easy to use, and it really does a beautiful job. Purchase HERE

This tool was intended to be used for smaller gardens, but a couple years ago I figured out a way to use it in my large garden. As a result, my harvest doubled. If you are gardening in a small or large space and want to increase your food yield, this is the tool you need. Purchase HERE.

This is my favorite form of natural fertilizer for my garden. It’s a little stinky, but I can notice my plants looking happier in just a short amount of time. This is one of my secrets to beautiful, healthy plants. Purchase HERE.

This stuff is a staple. I have always been very particular about the way I handle pests in my garden. I don’t use any harsh chemicals, but I also don’t want my garden taken over by grasshoppers. This stuff is AMAZZING. Not only can you use it in your garden to kill pests, but it is also a great de-wormer for animals and humans alike. It is called Diatomaceous Earth also referred to as DE, and it is a staple on the homestead. It also gets rid of fleas and mites on animals. Make sure to use a mask anytime you handle. It is not recommended to breath in the particles that may be in the air. Purchase HERE.

Last summer I discover this handy-dandy little dispenser that makes getting your Diatomaceous Earth into your garden much easier and effective. I absolutely love this product. Purchase HERE.

These little clips are great to support your tomato plants as they grow and produce. Purchase HERE.

These are so nostalgic and a great tool to carry your garden produce to your home.

You definitely can grow a beautiful garden without these, but why would you want to? I added THESE to my garden space last summer, and it turned into a completely magical space that was a sanctuary for me to relax at the end of a hard day.
